Houston Duplex Revitalization

The original 1912 duplex near Rice University had suffered years of neglect and needed a full renovation to save the historic structure. The interior was completely rebuilt with a new floor plan in mind to better serve the need for student housing near the university. The original 3 bed / 2 bath layout was modified to accommodate 5 bedrooms and 2 shared bathrooms within the existing 1500 square foot footprint of each level. To meet the owner's needs, the large living rooms were down-sized to a common kitchen and living room for a dorm-style living arrangement for the students.

This renovation was completed in 2018.
